Giovanni Botticelli Studio × .Elmar Milano
An exploration of reflection, materiality and bespoke design, curated by ATLANTE Design.
What happens when reflection becomes an integral part of architecture?

Made to Reflect brings together Giovanni Botticelli Studio and .Elmar Milano in a collaboration that explores the relationship between sculptural objects, interior spaces and material expression.
Developed by ATLANTE Design, the project originates from a shared design philosophy: an appreciation for craftsmanship, attention to detail and the possibilities of customisation.
Within the Milanese spaces of .Elmar, Giovanni Botticelli’s wall-mounted and freestanding mirror sculptures interact with the surrounding surfaces, volumes and materials. Through unexpected reflections and shifting perspectives, the pieces introduce new visual dimensions, transforming the way the space is perceived and experienced.

At the heart of Giovanni Botticelli Studio’s practice is an exploration of float glass and mirrors as tools for chromatic and spatial composition. Each piece combines artisanal craftsmanship with a flexible approach to design, allowing dimensions, finishes and configurations to respond to the character of individual interiors.

Rather than simply placing objects within an existing setting, Made to Reflect establishes a dialogue between two complementary design approaches. Reflections become a means of connecting objects and architecture, while craftsmanship and customisation provide the common ground for a coherent spatial experience.
For ATLANTE Design, the project reflects an approach to creative collaboration that connects independent design practices with established manufacturers, generating new contexts for their work and meaningful relationships between brands, objects and spaces.
