“Common Ground” is a project conceived by Margherita Rui that brings five Italian manufacturers — NasonMoretti, Fornace Brioni, Fortuny, Imolarte and Amenta Incisioni — into dialogue through their distinctive materials, techniques and traditions.Presented at EDIT Napoli 2026 as part of the EDIT Cult programme, the installation transformed the historic Church of Santa Caterina da Siena into a space for gathering and exchange.Glass, terracotta, textiles, ceramics and artistic printing converge around the table, creating a shared visual language of colours, symbols and gestures. Through this collective composition, Margherita Rui explores the table as a cultural space where different identities, territories and forms of craftsmanship meet.
