The collaboration between Margherita Rui and Fornace Brioni brings the expressive qualities of terracotta into the world of Common Ground.
Working with the material’s natural textures and the possibilities of glazed surfaces, the project explores the relationship between colour, craftsmanship and form. Traditional terracotta techniques become the starting point for a contemporary interpretation of decorative objects and the rituals surrounding the table.
Through this dialogue, the collection celebrates the material heritage of Italian manufacturing, revealing how time-honoured processes can generate new aesthetic languages and possibilities of expression.
