Contemporary Mediterranean Design Selections 2026

A Curated Edit of Contemporary Mediterranean Furniture & Objects

Summer transforms spaces into lived landscapes — open to light, conviviality and material warmth. Terraces become extensions of the home, hospitality spaces embrace softer atmospheres, and objects acquire a new tactile and emotional presence.

ATLANTE Design presents its Contemporary Mediterranean Design Selections 2026: a curated collection of furniture, ceramic objects, lighting, architectural surfaces and outdoor living solutions created for luxury residential and hospitality projects. Bringing together emerging and established Italian design brands, the selection explores the evolving language of Mediterranean interiors through craftsmanship, material research and contemporary aesthetics.

From experimental digital fabrication to Venetian-inspired furniture design, from bold ceramics to sophisticated outdoor living, the Summer Season Selections gather some of the most distinctive voices within the ATLANTE Design ecosystem — all available for international specification and immediate project development.

Ari de Luca — Bold Mediterranean Objects for Contemporary Interiors

Italian ceramist Arianna De Luca transforms Mediterranean archetypes into playful ceramic objects defined by colour, irony and sculptural simplicity. Her collections reinterpret traditional Italian visual culture through a contemporary pop language where craftsmanship and storytelling coexist naturally.

The Pawn Cups and La Graziosa collections stand out this season for their versatility across lifestyle retail, hospitality environments and curated residential interiors. Designed to bring personality and warmth into spaces, each piece reflects a joyful and highly recognizable aesthetic universe.

Ari De Luca collections are ideal for:

  • contemporary residential interiors,
  • concept stores,
  • boutique hospitality,
  • curated gifting.

A line of ceramic objects created to celebrate ice cream at the table, like a true haute patisserie dessert, introducing a playful and engaging ritual that ignites childhood emotions.

The large bowl, which also serves as a tray, contains small cups in the center, differentiated by color. Characterized by a crenellated casing, a series of cavities accommodates numerous wafer cones that can be freely arranged like a carousel of colors.

Mediterranea Design — Computational Design Meets Craftsmanship

Mediterranea Design explores the intersection between advanced technology and artisanal culture through collections developed using computational design and additive manufacturing techniques.

Rooted in the landscape and material sensibility of Southern Italy, the brand creates sculptural furniture and objects characterized by fluid geometries, layered textures and a research-driven approach to contemporary production.

The collections represent a new Mediterranean design language where sustainability, experimentation and craftsmanship coexist naturally.

Mediterranea Design collections are ideal for:

  • innovation-focused residential spaces,
  • forward-thinking hospitality projects,
  • contemporary collectors,
  • architectural interiors.

Giogio Barbi — Sculptural Design Rooted in Italian Artisan Soul

Produced between Venice and Padua, GioGio Barbi collections combine architectural precision with the expressive richness of traditional Italian craftsmanship.

Working with marble, brass, wood and glass, the brand creates furniture pieces conceived as sculptural presences within contemporary interiors. Each object balances geometry, material depth and artisanal execution through a refined and timeless visual language.

This season’s highlight, the Cesareo Table, exemplifies the brand’s approach through its bold proportions, noble materials and strong architectural identity — a statement piece designed for sophisticated residential and hospitality spaces.

Custom finishes and project specifications are available internationally.

Dante Negro — Outdoor Living Reimagined

For more than sixty years, Dante Negro has developed outdoor furniture collections rooted in durability, craftsmanship and timeless elegance. Today, under the creative direction of Margherita Rui, the brand enters a new contemporary chapter where refined forms and material sophistication meet international outdoor living culture.

All Dante Negro collections exemplify this vision through sculptural silhouettes, carefully balanced proportions and sophisticated combinations of marble, glass, textiles and premium metals.

Dante Negro’s collections are designed for:

  • contract environments,
  • private terraces,
  • private gardens,
  • boutique hospitality outdoors spaces.

Bespoke configurations and finishes are available for architectural projects worldwide.

La Manufacture Paris — French Elegance, Italian Excellence

Defined by refined proportions, tactile materiality and timeless elegance, La Manufacture Paris collaborates with internationally renowned designers to produce collections conceived for contemporary luxury spaces.

La Manufacture develops objects and furniture pieces that feel simultaneously Parisian in spirit and Italian in craftsmanship — balancing decorative richness with architectural clarity.

La Manufacture Paris collections are particularly suited for:

  • collectible contemporary living spaces.

  • hospitality projects,
  • curated retail environments.

De Marchi Verona — Architectural Porcelain with Sculptural Depth

De Marchi Verona elevates porcelain surfaces into architectural elements capable of transforming spatial perception through texture, rhythm and light.

Designed by Giacomo Totti, collections such as Cadenza and Maya explore three-dimensionality through references spanning pre-Columbian symbolism, art deco geometries and radical contemporary aesthetics. The result is a family of surfaces that function simultaneously as material, ornament and architecture.

De Marchi Verona collections are perfect for:

  • hospitality interiors
  • luxury residential projects,
  • retail environments,
  • feature walls and bespoke installations.

Custom colourways and project adaptations are available internationally.

Mediterranean Design Trends 2026: Material Authenticity, Sculptural Forms & Outdoor Living

Contemporary Mediterranean design in 2026 moves beyond nostalgic references to embrace a more refined dialogue between craftsmanship, material research and contemporary living.

Across furniture, ceramic objects, mirrors and outdoor collections, the emerging aesthetic is defined by tactile surfaces, sculptural silhouettes, warm natural tones and a seamless relationship between interior and exterior spaces.

Designers are increasingly exploring emotionally resonant materials — from textured glass and handcrafted ceramics to reflective surfaces and artisanal finishes — while maintaining a strong connection to architectural simplicity and relaxed Mediterranean lifestyles.

The projects featured in this selection reflect this evolution through pieces conceived for contemporary residential environments, boutique hospitality spaces and culturally driven interiors where authenticity, atmosphere and material identity become central elements of the design experience.

All collections featured in the Summer Season Selections are available for immediate specification and international project development.
